The materials, textures, and shapes were all designed drawing directly from nature and observing its behaviours and processes. In line with nature, the idea was to avoid any ornamental or purposeless details.
When water is poured from the jug, the wooden stick guides its flow through the small passage into the cup. In order to allow for usage with also hot drinks, a small cavity separates the two ceramic layers.
Designed with materials that come directly from the earth, the use of a rough texture underscores it’s raw, natural appearance as well as enhances the grip on the handle.
